TV’s “Law and Order” not Fiction Enough?

Over the years, hundreds of people have found the plot of Law and Order episodes a little too close to their own personal reality.  The show admits episodes are inspired by real stories, but the show is purely fiction.  Although many crime victims and families have been offended by the plot lines, only one has sued.  New York’s Ravi Batra, a bald, Indian-American attorney who was linked to bribery allegations (but never charged) claims the show damaged his reputation with an episode featuring a bald, Indian-American attorney who was involved in bribery and murder.
