More Oath Problems?

A New York man who was about to testify in a domestic litigation case, told the judge he could not swear to the “truth,” but could answer truthfully.  After explaining his belief that science is the pursuit of “truth” the man was allowed to testify.  In his alternative oath, he swore to “not say anything that is knowingly not truthful.”
