Alternative Service Animals Under Attack

In several parts of the country cities and states are debating whether or not to ban non-canine service animals because use of alternative animals is on the rise.  For example blind persons can use miniature horses instead of guide dogs because they live longer and have excellent vision.  However, use of these animals, which can include parrots and monkeys, may also violate exiting bans on ownership of exotic animals.
